Govind Dev Ji Faag Utsav '25
On 7 March 2025, Fankaar Institute of Performing Arts students presented their Kathak hajiri at Govind Dev Ji Temple. The performance brought together the traditional elements of Kathak, with a focus on rhythm, technique and expression.
The students presented Shuddha Kathak, featuring traditional Kavit, Tode and Paran, followed by the expressive Thumri “Aiso Hatilo Chhel.” The presentation reflected their dedicated practice and engagement with the rich traditions of Kathak.
