Nritya Sabha '24
On 16 March 2024, Fankaar Institute of Performing Arts organised Nritya Sabha, an evening dedicated to the beauty and diversity of Indian classical dance at The Quench.
The programme brought together Fankaar students in a vibrant presentation featuring Ganesh Vandana, Saraswati Vandana, Shiv Stuti, Shuddha Kathak, and Krishna Leela. Each presentation explored a different aspect of Kathak, from devotional expression and abhinaya to rhythmic movement and traditional repertoire.
The evening celebrated the students’ dedication, learning and growth, while creating a space where classical dance could be experienced through devotion, storytelling, rhythm and expression. Nritya Sabha was a meaningful opportunity for the students to share their training with an audience and come together in celebration of dance.
