Heirs of the Peacock Throne '23
On 23 November 2023, students of Fankaar Institute of Performing Arts had the opportunity to be part of Heirs of the Peacock Throne, a production presented at Manipal University.
The students presented Indian classical dance, bringing together the grace, discipline and expressive vocabulary of classical dance within a larger theatrical production. Their performance added a distinct visual and cultural dimension to the production, reflecting the beauty of Indian classical traditions.
Being part of Heirs of the Peacock Throne was a valuable performance experience for the students, offering them an opportunity to work within a larger production and present their training on a university stage.
